    About the book
    :
Author John Culhane’s handsome out-of-print book is one of the finest studies of the creation of a single Disney animated feature. Culhane’s exhaustive research in the Walt Disney Archives focused on the story and idea meetings Walt Disney held with Leopold Stokowski, Deems Taylor, and his studio's filmmakers to consider, select, and visualize the musical compositions to animate for the screen. Each section of the film is described in a separate chapter that provides fascinating insights into the challenges presented and how Disney and his talented artists and engineers mastered them.
    1987 Reprint Edition, Hardcover in Dust Jacket. 223 Pages. 9 1/2” x 12”.
Publisher: Harry N. Abrams, Author: John Culhane
