Vintage Chinese Porcelain RIBBED Ginger Jar Vase W FOO DOG FINIAL LID
15.75" high with a large 25.5" circumference. 3.5" opening at top.
Excellent condition- No flaws or damage of any kind. No nicks chips cracks fading or repair to urn. Celadon green glazed Foo Dog atop lid as finial. Stunning design, white porcelain is covered with scenes of twining vines, leaves, and flowers with round fruit. Butterflies interspersed. Gold trim to rim on lid and rim on jar. Gently ribbed with an elongated melon shape. Very heavy, beautifully made piece.
Underside of base is marked 9445 in gold
Underside of lid has 3 small green felt pad protectors [not visible when lid is on vase] which keep the lid from clanking down on the urn. Can easily be peeled off by buyer if desired.

A magnificent piece- vertical shadowing on the ribs is gorgeous in the light.
