    This a likely a tea or spice box, with painted
    enamel
    as well as 4 applied and raised family scenes painted and accented. A late
    Qing Dynasty piece estimated between 1900 and 1920.
    Wear is appropriate with one minor wear imperfection on the lid trim. A minor separation of the brass strip edging has come lose slightly. You can see this in the last three photos if you look closely at the rim. Marked China.
