Oriental Objects D’Art
Hand Painted Warrior Scene Pattern
Crackle Glaze Off White Porcelain
4.5" x 2" (3” Inner Tray) Asian Carved Solid Wood Wooden Stand Base
One of a Kind??
This wonderful ginger jar makes a great statement and displays beautifully and is a fantastic accent piece.
It is in very good condition (thin chip inside lid rim, but that is how it came) and measures 8.5” high with lid on and 6.25” without lid.
It is 5” across at widest part.
This is hand painted of a Warrior Scene including wild animals, mountains, warriors, horse, pitchforks and wonderful outfits they are wearing.
The trim on the bottom part and near neck of jar have some other designs in brown as well as the lid.
This jar and lid have drawings all over the whole jar and lid.
This might be one of a kind as I have searched and have not seen another exactly like this.
The solid wood base or stand has an Asian design carved on the sides that looks like possible Lotus flower that has a footed effect. The top grooved recessed part is 3”. You can use this to place the figurine on or not.
It is stamped in red on the bottom with:
ORIENTAL
OBJECTS D’ART
2 ROWS OF CHINESE LETTERS
MADE IN MACAU
Macau is an autonomous region on the south coast of China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. A Portuguese territory until 1999, it reflects a mix of cultural influences. Its giant casinos and malls on the Cotai Strip, which joins the islands of Taipa and Coloane, have earned it the nickname, "Las Vegas of Asia." One of its more striking landmarks is 338m-high Macau Tower, with sweeping city views.
