    Description

    This is a vintage very heavy brass Asian canister with lid.  It has an applied brass etched vase decoration on the front and the other three sides have an etched picture of two Asian men.  The lid is also etched.  It is 9-½" high to top of knob on lid and is 5" square.  The lid is 5-5/8" square.  It is in very nice condition but three of the seams of the jar have opened a bit.  There is also something going on with the top of the lid (see picture 6).  This canister appears to be quite old.  The bottom is not marked.  It weighs 3-½ pounds.
