    Vintage HEREFORDSHIRE OF OHIO LICENSE PLATE TOPPER Rare Old Advertising Sign. THIS IS NOT A TOTALLY FLAT NEW REPRODUCTION THAT IS AGED AND MASQUERADING AS USED. Guaranteed to be an old original. Excellent condition and displays well. Before bumper stickers were invented license plate toppers were the only way to advertise on your car as you drove around town and advertised for free. Unless you know the seller if the listing says VINTAGE, USED, or PRE-OWNED and it is not guaranteed it is probably not an old original.  This is NOT a flat porcelain (enamelware)  reproduction from ING-RICH or a foreign country. Beware of those selling NOTHING but signs of some type. There are now NON-PORCELAIN, totally flat, reproductions being offered, sometimes as vintage. They are usually things you have never seen before and are aged. This is a nice addition to any collection. Selling parts of my collection of many years.
