  • Condition: This is a handmade marked Chinese cloisonne jar and lid. The lid has a small foo dog as the knob. The piece has a blue background in cloud shaped cloisons. The floral design is white and a light pink. The jar with lid is 5 1/2" tall. Interior is turquoise and is clean. The piece has no chips or cracks. You are buying this in AS IS vintage noted condition. Any reflections, blue or otherwise, are from lights. Please see photos for condition specifics as they are part of the description.

    Description

    This
    is a vintage cloisonne jar with lid. This jar is handmade, and the top rim is slightly crooked as shown in photos. The jar has a blue background with white flowers and leaves.  A slight pink tint is present on the white cloisons.  The knob on the lid is a small foo dog.  The piece has brass cloisons which are cloud shaped.
    The jar is 5 1/2 inches tall with the lid.  It is 2 3/8 inches across the open top and has a 2-inch base.
    The base is turquoise, and China is written in red on the base.  The interior of the base and the lid is clean.  The piece has no chips or cracks.  A nice older Oriental item.  Yo

    Any blue reflections are from the sky at my window and other reflections are from my lights.   These are not imperfections in the glass or item.
    All breakable items are well wrapped in bubble wrap for shipment.
