Vintage Antique Chinese Blue & White Twisted Lotus Rice Ginger Jar & Lid Foo Dog.
This is a beautiful blue and white rice jar or possibly large ginger jar with a blue animal on top. It is in great condition. The only small issues are staining to the bottom porcelain where it looks like it was sitting on something rusty. You can also see where the animal was attached on one side between the animal and the lid on, but it is still solid on the other side and it is glazed over so this happened during the making of the piece; the handle does seem to still be very sturdy and well attached.
It stands about 5.5” without the lid and about 8 inches with.
