A Chinese Porcelain Nine Peach Tree Motif Ginger Jar Urn, c. Mid 20th Century. This Ginger Jar would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The porcelain is finished in a hand painted enamel, which shows a vibrant color palette throughout. The Ginger Jars motif shows a blossoming peach tree, also refereed to as "Nine Peaches" in Chinese Culture. This motif often symbolized longevity and timelessness. The Ginger Jar includes the original matching lid, which fits upon top as it should. The underside is marked China.
Condition:
This Ginger Jar was exceptionally well made. A chip is shown along the backside of the lid, we've circled this area in our photo gallery to reference.
