    Description

    Two Victorian trade cards, one from Massachusetts Boot & Shoe Co of Boston, with roses and the number 290 in one corner. The other is from Francis P. Conaty Boots and Shoes of Taunton. It has a humorous illustration titled 'Tables Turned' of two fishermen, one holding a fish as he falls into the water.
    They measure 2-1/4" x 4" and 2-11/16" x 4-1/2", respectively and both have additional information on the backs. The card with the roses has some paste residue (probably from a scrapbook) which obscures some of the printing; the other is clean.
