A rare postal souvenir folder posted in 1921 with 10 postcard size images of interiors and exteriors of the USS ZEPPELIN.
USS
Zeppelin
was a passenger liner launched
in 1914 as
SS
Zeppelin
for the North German Lloyd
. Due to  WW1,
she never entered NDL service. She had a career after the war first under White Star line
control as SS ZEPPELIN in 1919, then briefly as the troop ship
USS
Zeppelin
, next as the Orient SN Liner
SS
Ormuz

and finally back with NDL as
SS
Dresden.
Under Charter for KDF cruises,
s
he struck rocks off Norway and sunk in 1934.
Rare images of this seldom seen liner. Missing back flap but all photos are in excellent condition.
