Dating from the mid 20thC, hand enhanced polychrome vase, marked on the back as illustrated... "Fabricado em Macau" (Manufactured in Macau)
The pattern has been identified as "Thousand Flowers".
Portugal had a presence for centuries in Macau and had been influential in developing the export of porcelain goods prior to Macau becoming part of Communist China.
As a result, Portuguese taste in ceramics leans towards the oriental, and it is quite common to find this type of hand painted wares used as decor in most Portuguese homes.
The vase dates from the 1950s/60s.
It stands approximately 10 inches tall.
This pattern came in different colored backgrounds.  This vase is from the gold series.

No chips, cracks or evidence of wear, no residue from moisture.
