    DESCRIPTION
    :
    An Oriental Stone Cicada or Scarab Head mounted on a Wooden Branch
    Staff or Handle 25-1/4" in length.  Diameter of the Stone Mace Head is 2-3/8".  This Tree
    Branch was growing in a Hedge Row on my property.  I cut it out thinking it would make a
    great Handle.  I mounted the Stone Mace Head and wrapped it with Hemp Twine.  I used
    Antique Iron Tacks to decorate the Handle, and used Brass Tacks as a Stops for the base of
    the Handle, as pictured.  I Stained and Lacquered it many times to achieve the overall
    Translucent Amber Patina.
    This was inspired by props in Post Apocalyptic movies.
