The 3 full page letter from 1921 is written on letterhead from the steamship the SS Spokane from a lady from Texas. She was with a Presbyterian church group that met a well known Alaska Missionary Dr. S. Hall Young on a part of her inside passage journey who gave a lecture to her group. Dr Hall was a close friend of John Muir. The rest of the letter is about her a trip from Texas and time spent in Seattle and on the inside passage and stops along the way. This came out of a 1921 photo album that belong to this lady and it’s in very good as seen condition. I have one more auction to list from the album. Apparently she stayed at the mission in Sitka and probably other places or missions along the way.
