    Slightly overexposed and printed on card stock, this image of the French Line's ILE DE FRANCE of 1927 is nonetheless very compelling as there is much detail to be seen as she steams along at a clip in mid-ocean. Her entire promenade deck has been glazed and the mail plane catapult is clearly visible on her poop deck so this would be an image depicting her before October, 1930.
