  • Condition: The cards are in fair-good used condition, there are no rips or tears, but the cards have been used quite a lot, and the edges all show wear, as do the cards. The original box is also only in fair condition with a great deal of wear to the box, and part of the seam is split. This deck has definitely seen use, but still a nice example of a very hard to find deck.

    RAILROAD/STEAMSHIP GREAT NORTHERN STEAMSHIP PLAYING CARDS
    Offered today is a deck of playing cards from the Great Northern Steamship Company. The deck comes in the original box, and is complete with Jokers and a Bridge Table card. The back of all the cards has an ornate design featuring a picture of a Great Northern Steamship, the American Flag, The company flag, and flags for Japan and China. The back of the cards read, "Great Northern Steamship Company Operating the New Twin Screw Steamships "Minnesota" & "Dakota" 28,000 Tons Between Seattle-Japan-China". The cards are in fair-good used condition, there are no rips or tears, but the cards have been used quite a lot, and the edges all show wear, as do the cards. The original box is also only in fair condition with a great deal of wear to the box, and part of the seam is split.
