    Description

    Two-fold trade card for John J. Henry & Co, Commission Merchants in Boots, Shoes and Slippers, inside a folded light card stock, "card case", similar to a wallet. Card has been designed so the outside looks like it's made of brown snake skin, and the front flap has been cut and illustrated to look like there is a dollar bill sticking out. Back side of the folded case has an ornate silver decorative element similar to a small medallion. Printed in very small letters at the top edge is "patent applied for". Text inside is printed in an artistic font, and reads "John J. Henry & Co, Commission Merchants in Boots, Shoes and Slippers, 82 Summer & 295 Devonshire Sts., Boston.
