    Description

Victorian Trade Card - Circa 1895
    Fine Condition, see the scans
Victorian Trade Cards were very popular in the late 1800s into the early 1900s. Businesses and Trades of all kinds produced some type of card that you could take away with you, an advertisement for your business that doubled as a keepsake. Smaller businesses would purchase a standard (stock) card design from a printer and then have their information overprinted onto that card style. Larger companies and businesses made cards that were unique to themselves. Many children and adults kept scrapbooks with cut outs and cards in them. VTCs are great collectors items.
This is a totally original, authentic card made in the late 1800s. Please see the photos for the size of the card and detailed condition. Being over 100 years old, most of these cards have some flaws.
    Condition
: Fine (see scans) - None of my Victorian Trade Cards are in mint or perfect condition. Take a good look at the scans, as some of these have scrapbook residue, adhesive marks, foxing or age discoloration, writing or other minor imperfections. This is a lifetime collection of trade cards that I am selling. All of them are authentic late 1800s Americana...these are definitely from a different era than we live in today. I think they represent priceless pieces of a bygone period of American History. I am selling many cards from my 30+ years of collecting, so make sure you look at my other items as well, I have great prices on these..... Thanks for looking!!!
