    Description

All of the white dots and other dots ARE RAISED above the plane of the vase like very tiny 3D dots & they sparkle when light hits them.
These vases are 3-feet TALL...36" x 24" x 18". 2-Feet in circumference. Please see photos for condition, too. They are a delicate porcelain, so lightweight I could hold it in the air & not get tired.  This is another sign of their fine quality.  They have a very strong "ping" when flicked w/a finger.  There's a light patina. In photo 5, there is a dark line under a pink flower to the left of the gold handle. I don't remember a crack & they lived in my room for 2 months.  I'm sure I would remember one.  Pls scrutinize the photo.
Because of their delicacy & the headache, I am not accepting returns, but I'm still subject to eBay's seller rules protecting you from fraud.

    Provenance
I worked out the date of their production b/c my grandfather was a general under Chiang Kai-Shek. Kuo-ming fled China to Taiwan & other East Asian countries. He went to Korea for a while & relocated to Taiwan. I doubt that he was carrying these vases around.  So they were made between 1955-1975, when my parents married.  Because of my grandfather, I believe this is why this expensive wedding gift was made. These beautiful Chinese vases are of such fine quality. These were not made for export to foreign markets. Regarding provenance, my dad is still alive & would be happy to sign a document.  They are also in a family photo.

    DESCRIPTION
The high-quality of the workmanship is obvious. How the scenes are painted, the faces of the garden party are finely detailed, well-painted & the colors overall combine together perfectly  I put the Culture as Japanese b/c the scenes depicted on it are of Japanese ladies, dressed in lovely kimonos. in a beautiful garden, under the watch of a pagoda. eBay changed the Culture to Japan, that's okay.
The Cherry Blossom Tree is a prominent and very romantic touch rendering the whole an air of expectation, sophistication, & luminosity.  One wonders, "What will happen next in the garden?" There are children playing on either side - one with a fishing pole.  The ladies have musical instruments & the mood of the day is very gay.  The vases have elaborate cloisonne-like designs as you see. The vases are covered in what I describe as flowers that have been stylized in a Japanese tradition. The vases are also covered with many things.  Some of them have an abstract, symbolic, and outlined in gold. The elaborate & complex symbolism is well-highlighted by the quality of the artistic expression & the symmetry makes the vases pop and feel alive.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions. Because of their delicacy & the headache, I am not accepting returns, but I'm still subject to eBay's seller rules protecting you from fraud.
    SHIPPING
MY RECOMMENDATION IS Fedex Antique Shipping. They would: insure it, make special boxes, pack them, & ship them.  Their max price from coast to coast (CA to DC) is 0.00.  If you live closer to CA, the price would be lower.  Peace of mind for you & me.  The vases large size may them ineligible for 95% of eBay's shipping options.  Needless to say, any excess S&H monies will be refundedor sent to the charity if you like.
    Thank you for your attention!
