    Description

    Purchased by me at the Queen Mary salvage auction in Long Beach, California in the past century (late 1980’s, early 1990’s). This is a property tag and measures 3/4” x 2” used for identification and for merchandising.  If you do a web search for memorabilia related to the Queen Mary, you will find chairs, ladders, and much other material with the identical plaque attached by means of small brass brads or nails.  There is an older design also.  There is cellophane on the top as affixed by the manufacturer.  It can be peeled off to reveal an almost perfect surface.
