NORTH GERMAN LLOYD NDL 1909 TRAVEL BOOK LOTS OF PHOTOS LIST OF ALL SHIPS RARE!

Description

This is another rare one I never anticipated selling.  1909 NDL medium format cardstock book with glossy printed pages detailing their sailings around the world and connections with all other shipping lines they did business with.  Loaded with photos of destinations, there are fold-out maps, photos of the ships, a COMPLETE list of all North German Lloyd ships and their captains, and their tonnage, AS WELL AS a complete list of all ships they could get connections on to bring them anywhere, from the Holy Land to China or South America, you name it.  Even includes river steamers and the NDL training ships!  Book has a hole punched clean through it at the top left corner, I suspect a travel agent may have used this and had it hanging in his office.  Very slight separation at the back where the big worldwide map folds out, but, book is solid and the binding is tight.  There's a whole lot of information you're going to find here you won't find anywhere else, and it's printed in English, so, safe to say this probably came from their New York offices.  This is a rare one!
