    was an ocean liner, built in 1924 by Armstrong Whitworth in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, for the Swedish American Line for use in the Gothenburg - New York City run. She was of great historical importance as the first ship built for transatlantic express service as a diesel-powered motor vessel, rather than as a conventional steamship. Included in this lot are: 2 tourist passenger lists, Passenger information booklet, tourist booklet on Dalsland Sweden, Two farewell dinner menus, and eight single page daily menus. The two farewell dinner menus do have a few passenger autographs. These were in a scrapbook, so the backs on a few have glue residue. The menus are good with some scrapbook corners. Sold as a lot only.
