    Description

    A heavy, hand painted crackle glaze waisted beehive shaped pot with a blue and white design of scholars seated with attendants and their books, incense and tea.
    The glaze on the heavy porcelain small mouthed pot is thick, unctuous and very smooth, with dark lines in the crackle. There is a cross hatch border under the mouth rim. The mouth, base and interior are glazed. The cut foot is unglazed.
    MEASUREMENTS
    7 ½” (19.0 cm) diameter x 4 3/8” (11.1 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lb 8.2 oz (1140 g)
