To your consideration tonight the rare invitation card to the launch of Italian Line's CRISTOFORO COLOMBO which took place on 10 May 1953 at the Ansaldo Shipyards in Sestri Ponente. To note that the ship.is mentioned as to be the sister ship to the ANDREA DORIA already in service for the Italian Line being their fleet ship.The card measures 6-1/2" x 4-3/4" ( Cm.17 x 12 ).Excellent condition as evidenced by the attached scans.
