COMPAGNIE SUD ALTANTIQUE SS LUTETIA VINTAGE LITHO PHOTO CARD
Here’s a good condition, postally-unused 5.5” x 3.5” vintage litho photo postcard of Compagnie Sud’s 3-funnel liner SS Lutetia, seen here in an aerial view, and not so subtly retouched. Smoke from the funnels has been painted in, as well as the water the ship floats in, to simulate motion even though all the ship’s coal ports are wide open. Still this photo provides you with a fairly good, slightly grainy look at the ship’s upper works which holds up to a certain amount of magnification. Image clean and clear.
