This brochure was released with much optimism in 1994 to plug the 1995 cruise program of Starlauro’s three ships, the MONTEREY, the SYMPHONY and the ACHILLE LAURO.
Sadly, the latter sank on December 3, 1994 after catching fire off Somalia.
The following year, the company would change its name to Star Cruises, then to MSC Cruises, which now thrives as one of the world’s biggest cruise lines.
