We offer a Chinese ceramic Monteith Bowl decorated with the motifs seen on Rothschild Bird porcelain china. Our bowl is ceramic and chunky with thick potting. The decoration of birds, butterflies and insects are bright and vivid.
The Monteith Bowl measures
11 3/8 in length, 8 1/8" in width and 4 3/8 h 8 1/8". The oval base measures 6 7/8" x 5 3/8".
With minor crazing, the bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
