    This antique Victorian trade card features a moody scene of a siling ship in rough waters with a lighthouse in the distance. It was an advertising card for W P Thoms, Successor to J T Tuttle, Fine Boots and Shoes, Dealer in Scotch Linens, 104 Bank St, Waterbury Connecticut

    CONDITION
    :   antique 1800s trade card...
    Age toning, shelf wear, soil, edge wear, one tiny tear upper edge   . ...but awesome graphics! It is a particularly moody, dark scene with the ship and the lighthouse and the stormy sky and seas....The reverse is blank, age toned, and a square of residue from a tape strip that once help it in an album.
