DESCRIPTION
Great old trumpet from the jazz age!  This Buescher LP 9 trumpet has a patent date of October 7, 1907.  It is engraved on the bell "THE BUESCHER ELKHART IND".   Engraved on  valve #2 is "TRUETON Trademark Registered Pat Oct 29 .07 216032  LP 9".
The serial number of 216032 indicates a manufacture date of 1927.  The interior of the bell is gold while the remainder of the trumpet is silver in color.
In regard to condition, the keys that operate the valves move up and down.  The slides are stuck.  There is a significant dent on the tuning slide on valve number 2, and four very tiny dents on the instrument (see photo with 4 pencils).  It is missing the nut off the end of a rod that helps adjust a slide (see photo).   The trumpet does need additional cleaning.  I wiped it off quickly with silver polish and some tarnish remains.   This did not come with either a mouthpiece or a case.   The trumpet has a lot of potential with a little cleaning and care.  (itemxzg)
