    Nice find at an ESTATE Sale!
    It's a hand colored photo (I think) of The
    HUDSON RIVER DAY LINE STEAMER "HENDRICK HUDSON".
    It is in a nice old embossed frame that measures
    9.25" x 7".
    On the front is written:
    "No. 2                  Hand colored"
    "HUDSON RIVER DAY LINE STEAMER "HENDRICK HUDSON"
    On the back is hand written:
    "JUNE 1930"
    "Hand colored photo of the Hudson River Lines Steamer "Hendrick Hudson.  It was 390 feet long and could cary 5,250 passengers.  It cruised in Western New York City and albany NY between 1906 to 1940.  It was built by the TS Marvel Shipyard in Newburg, NY and scrapped in 1951."
    The steamships shows many people on board and lots of flags flying. I did learn that it was built in 1906 at a cost of close to one million dollars!! One tiny spot of foxing on the picture.
