Salvaged by the Doria Project from Italian Line flagship S.S. Andrea Doria. SunkJuly26,1956 in the Atlantic
Was recovered by Peter Gimbel and his wife Elga Anderson.
This bank note was recovered and removed from the first class bank safe August 17,1984 withstood more then 25 years in seawater at a depth of 225 feet.
Bank note between two pieces of lucite.
