1960s Spanish Line BEGONA & MONTSERRAT Interiors Brochure w/ Color Photos

Compania Trasatlantica Espanola (Spanish Line) - A twelve-page brochure from 1960 for the newly-acquired BEGONA and MONTSERRAT.
The two liners were built in the U.S. at the end of WW2 as Victory ships. Sitmar rebuild them into handsome liners in the early 1950s. But by the late 1950s they were happy to sell them to Spain.
Color photos show Tourist and Tourist Special interiors from both ships including public rooms and sample cabins.
The sisters mostly sailed the Spain-Venezuela run. Engine troubles forced both to the breakers in the early 1970s.
Excellent condition.
